Nikki Javit

Nikki Javit has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Caremark Corporation and later became a Pharmacist In Charge, responsible for pharmacy operations. Nikki also worked as a Pharmacist-Based Immunization Delivery Instructor at the American Pharmacists Association, teaching immunization administration and providing general immunization information.

In 2013, Nikki joined Indiana University Health as a Staff Pharmacist, where they specialized in Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant patients. Nikki ensured the appropriateness and effectiveness of medications, conducted medication reconciliations, and served as a "double-check" for chemotherapy orders.

At Indiana University Health, Nikki also held various roles from 2016 to 2021, including Inflammatory Clinical Pharmacist, where they interacted with patients for clinical management and monitoring of specialty therapies. Nikki provided drug-specific patient education, navigated insurance barriers, and served on the Clinical Subcommittee of Quality Management Committee, making recommendations for clinical resources and case management programs.

From 2019 to 2021, Nikki worked as a Medical Writer at GoodRx, utilizing their expertise to write medical content.

Most recently, in 2022, Nikki started their own venture as a Podcast Host for The Peptide Podcast.

Nikki Javit pursued their education in a chronological manner. Nikki attended Indiana University Bloomington from the year 2000 to 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General during this time. Nikki then moved on to Butler University and studied there from 2004 to 2009, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with a focus on Pharmacy.

In addition to their formal education, Nikki Javit has also obtained various certifications. Nikki completed the APhA Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery certification from the American Pharmacists Association in December 2008. Nikki further acquired Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification from Power Pak in January 2021. In April 2021, they earned the certification of Certified Pharmacogenomics Pharmacist from RxGenomix. Nikki'smost recent certification is in International Travel Medicine, which they obtained from the USC School of Pharmacy in July 2021. Nikki Javit also holds a certification in Healthcare Provider (BLS) Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED from PRO-CPR, which they obtained in November 2022.
