Mark Cross began their career in 2016 as an Associate Account Executive Team Lead at Blackbaud. In this role, they led a group of 70+ associate account executives and was responsible for selling software training, data-enrichment software, consulting services and peer-to-peer fundraising tools to existing Blackbaud clients. Mark also served as the Everydayhero Channel Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales of everydayhero, an SaaS peer-to-peer nonprofit fundraising software platform within the Blackbaud General Markets Group. Additionally, Mark was a Client Account Executive, managing over 1,000 clients in the United States and Canada with a focus on peer-to-peer fundraising.
In 2019, Mark joined GoodUnited as the third full-time employee, beginning as Sales Director to build a sales process from the ground up and then taking on the responsibility of scaling current client revenue as Director of Account Management. Since 2019, Mark has helped GoodUnited grow company revenue from $1.
Mark Cross attended Wabash College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.
