Jay Lytle has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Jay started their career at Accenture in 2000 as an IT Consultant, where they focused on developing tax systems for State Revenue departments and integrating data from various governmental entities. Jay then moved on to the IN Department of Revenue in 2002, where they served as an IT Manager, leading the department in adopting cutting-edge technologies and spearheading design efforts for eCommerce web initiatives. In 2007, Jay joined the Indiana Department of Transportation as the Chief Information Officer, leading a team of 65 IT professionals and providing support to around 3500 employees. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana, a position they have held since 2016.
Jay Lytle obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Indiana University Bloomington in 1999. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, graduating in 2005. In 2010, they attended the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs where they completed the AASHTO Leadership Series. Jay Lytle recently completed the Senior Leadership Program at Goodwill Industries International in 2018.
