Luis Becerra, MBA has over 20 years of experience in various managerial roles. Luis started their career as a Store Manager at The Home Depot in 1999, where they excelled in asset management strategies and delivered high customer satisfaction results. In 2005, they became a District Pro-Sales Manager at The Home Depot, overseeing operating units with annual sales ranging from $27 million to $92 million. Luis was responsible for a large team of direct reports and demonstrated strong leadership in asset management, corporate programs execution, and driving P&L performance. In 2011, Luis joined The Sports Authority as a District General Manager, where they successfully combated the arrival of a major competitor in the market and managed all aspects of retail store operations. In 2013, they transitioned to Babies"R"Us as a District General Manager, further excelling in asset management strategies, sales productivity, and P&L performance. In 2018, Luis took on additional roles as the Co-Founder/Investor at Emergency Safety Solutions and the Director of Retail Operations at Goodwill Industries of San Diego County.
Luis Becerra obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from San Diego State University-California State University in the period from 1999 to 2003. Luis then pursued further education at the University of Redlands between 2012 and 2014, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
