Kristina Bridges has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Kristina is currently the Vice President for Human Resources at Goodwill of the Heartland. In this role, they oversee all functions of HR and the area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Kristina leads a team and is committed to the mission of the organization.

Kristina was a Human Resources Administrator in Health Care Human Resources, where they established the Leave and Disability office and managed complex cases involving leave and disability needs. Kristina also served as a Human Resources Senior Specialist, advising on accommodation/leave and performance management concerns. Kristina began their time at the University of Iowa as an HR Generalist.
Earlier in their career, Kristina worked as an HR Business Partner at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort. Kristina was part of a team responsible for developing and supporting HR needs for a start-up organization.

Kristina Bridges, MBA, SHRM-CSP, completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Mount Mercy University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Iowa between 2004 and 2006.
In addition to their academic achievements, Bridges has also obtained several certifications. In January 2014, they obtained the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Later, in January 2015, they earned the SHRM-SCP (Society of Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) certification from the SHRM. Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained the Title IX Investigator certification from the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA).
