Dena Hobbs

Dena Hobbs has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dena started their career in the US Army as a Helicopter Crew Chief, responsible for maintenance and operation of aircraft systems. After leaving the military, Dena moved on to work in the aerospace industry at Boeing as a Functional Test Technician.

In 1996, Dena transitioned to the IT field, joining NetDesk as an Operations Manager. Dena supervised a technical team and implemented automation and support systems. Subsequently, they took on the role of Network Engineer at Coldwell Banker All-American Associates, where they managed the Information Systems department, designed LAN/WAN infrastructure, and maintained servers.

Dena's career then led their to ReFlex Communications as a Senior LAN Engineer, where they established network best practices. Following that, they joined Starbucks Coffee Company, initially as a Senior System Engineer, contributing to critical projects and leading acquisitions integration. Dena later served as an IT Infrastructure Support Manager and then as an IT Infrastructure Manager for the company.

Since 2015, Dena has been working in the non-profit sector, starting as the Director of Technical Services at Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region. In this role, they provided strategic vision and technical leadership, managing a team of IT professionals and prioritizing resources to deliver top-notch customer service. Dena later became the Director of Information Technology, overseeing the development and implementation of the agency's IT strategies and communications infrastructure.

Dena Hobbs received technical training in ITIL from Hewlett Packard in 2007. Additionally, they attended New Mexico State University from 1983 to 1984, although no degree or field of study is specified.
