Dena Hobbs has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dena started their career in the US Army as a Helicopter Crew Chief, responsible for maintenance and operation of aircraft systems. Dena later served as an IT Infrastructure Support Manager and then as an IT Infrastructure Manager for the company.

Since 2015, Dena has been working in the non-profit sector, starting as the Director of Technical Services at Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region. In this role, they provided strategic vision and technical leadership, managing a team of IT professionals and prioritizing resources to deliver top-notch customer service. Dena later became the Director of Information Technology, overseeing the development and implementation of the agency's IT strategies and communications infrastructure.
