George Hannah

George Hannah has a extensive work experience in the golf industry. George currently holds the position of Head of Commercial Development at The Goodwood Group, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Commercial Executive at Legends Tour from September 2022 to March 2023. George also served as a Club Acquisition Manager at PlayMoreGolf from July 2021 to September 2022.

George has previous experience with The Goodwood Group, where they held several roles, including Sporting Sales Executive from January 2017 to October 2020, Golf Events Coordinator from April 2015 to January 2017, and Senior Golf Operations Assistant from January 2014 to April 2015. George also worked as a Golf Host at The Goodwood Group from November 2012 to November 2013.

In addition, George has experience with the PGA European Tour, where they worked as an Events Assistant for The Ryder Cup in September 2014 and as an Event Coordinator in May 2014. George also served as an Events Assistant at the PGA European Tour from May 2013 to June 2013.

George started their career as a Self Employed Golf Instructor at Cowdray Park Golf Club from July 2012 to November 2013. George was responsible for managing the teaching programme and providing coaching to individuals and groups.

George pursued a unique degree programme at The University of Birmingham, earning a degree in partnership with the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) from September 2009 to May 2012. This programme allowed him to combine a high-level applied theoretical degree with PGA membership.

George Hannah attended the University of Birmingham from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Golf Management Studies.
