Thiago Martins Amaral

Thiago Martins Amaral is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Global Reinforcement Technology at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company since January 2019, with prior roles including Staff Engineer in the same department and Global Forensics. Amaral's expertise encompasses root cause analysis, plant support, product development, and material testing. Previously, Amaral worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials, contributing to the Printed Electronics project under the EU Horizon 2020 initiative. Additional experience includes a Visiting PhD Student role at INM, focusing on nanoparticle synthesis and dielectric characterization, and teaching assistance in Electromagnetism at IFSC - USP. Amaral holds a Doctorate in Physics from USP, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from Universidade Federal de Goiás.
