Imed Zitouni

Imed Zitouni is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for GenAI, ML & Search at Google since June 2019, Imed focuses on developing innovative AI solutions that address complex issues in Google Search while leading diverse teams. Previously, Imed held key roles at Microsoft, including Principal Research Manager for Cortana, and at IBM Research Center as Senior Scientist and Team Lead, contributing significantly to advancements in natural language processing. Imed's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1, and professional experience at various institutions, including Bell Labs and DIALOCA, demonstrating a strong foundation in machine learning and natural language understanding.
