Jacob Abernethy is a seasoned research scientist at Google since December 2022, with a notable academic background as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology since August 2017. Abernethy co-founded BlueConduit in June 2019, aimed at using machine learning and data science to identify lead pipes for cities. Previous experience includes a visiting researcher role at Microsoft Research NYC and a three-month tenure with Google’s learning theory research group.
