Je A'nna McCardie is a seasoned leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) with extensive experience in shaping equitable hiring practices within major organizations. At Google, McCardie serves as the Director of Hiring Equity Strategy and Programs, leading a team dedicated to implementing a systems-driven approach to equity in hiring. Previous roles at Google include Global Head of D&I Strategies, where McCardie established the first global team focused on hiring equity and designed inclusive hiring systems. Prior to Google, McCardie held various positions, including Associate Director of Diversity at Genentech, where strategic diversity initiatives were developed, and Diversity Manager at SGI. McCardie's career also encompasses HR leadership roles at Mid Peninsula Housing and Sun Microsystems. McCardie holds a certification in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
