Rui Gu

Rui Gu is a Senior Software Engineer at Google since October 2019, specializing in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) AI Inference Infrastructure and leading features for Anthos Service Mesh managed control plane. Prior to Google, Rui Gu worked as a Software Engineer at Isovalent from October 2018 to July 2019, contributing to the Isovalent Platform, a policy and observability platform utilizing Cilium. Additionally, Rui Gu served as a Member of Technical Staff at VMware from July 2017 to October 2018, focusing on the VMware Kubernetes Engine (VKE) and cluster lifecycle management. Rui Gu holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
