Chief Fund Raising Officer at Gopali Youth Welfare Society

Parv Maheshwari has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Junior Executive Member at Gopali Youth Welfare Society in August 2019 and worked there until July 2020. During their time at the society, they progressed to the role of Senior Executive Member and then became the Sponsorship Team Head in April 2021. Parv also served as the Chief Fund Raising Officer, a position they currently hold. In 2020, Parv joined the Autonomous Ground Vehicle Research Group as a Software and AI Team Member. They have been working with the group since then. Most recently, Parv Maheshwari was a Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University under the Research Internship for Summer Scholars (RISS) program in 2022. Additionally, they were a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2021, where they worked under Dr. Amrutur Bharadwaj in collaboration with Nokia on automating a networked warehouse using ground robots. During their internship, Parv devised a novel and efficient proactive collision avoidance method for multibot path planning.

Parv Maheshwari is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. In addition, they have obtained multiple certifications including MTA: Introduction to Programming Using Java and MTA: Introduction to Programming Using Python from Microsoft. They have also completed several online courses such as Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Algorithmic Toolbox, Combinatorics and Probability, and Mathematical Thinking in Computer Science from Coursera.
