Ana Tamargo provides technical support to the Moore Foundation's program teams in monitoring and evaluation activities, including designing and implementing information systems to allow for adaptive management. She helps coordinate the development of the foundation's emerging outcomes management system to better capture, manage, and analyze data across all programs for enhanced strategy and grantmaking decision-making.
Before joining the foundation, Ana worked at the Packard Foundation where she led the development of and improvements to Foundation-wide impact measurement databases and systems for better user access, and communication of data. She also managed foundation-wide learning processes, including the development and facilitation of data visualizations as well as improved knowledge management practices. Prior to that, she worked in various international and environmentally focused NGOs through various positions in monitoring and evaluation, grants development, and project data management.
Ana holds a master’s degree in international development studies from George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs, in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Franklin & Marshall College.
