Maxine J. Nicholas

Maxine J. Nicholas, Esq. serves as Senior Counsel at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP since January 2018, focusing on employment-related matters for public and private sector employers in New Jersey and New York. Expertise includes defending against wrongful termination, discrimination, and whistleblower claims before various state and federal agencies. Previously, Maxine was an Associate Attorney at Florio & Kenny, LLC, specializing in labor and employment law, and served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Marybeth Rogers in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Maxine gained additional experience through internships at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Rhode Island and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, along with various other legal research and intern roles. Maxine holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Gettysburg College.
