Merrill McKee

Merrill McKee has extensive work experience in computer vision and software engineering. They are currently employed as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at SOLO since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bucher Emhart Glass from 2016 to 2021, where they led software projects and were responsible for computer vision algorithms, hardware communications, and the user interface. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at The DiSTI Corporation. Merrill McKee also has experience in teaching, having worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Valencia College from 2010 to 2012, and they also ran their own math tutoring business from 2008 to 2012. Earlier in their career, from 1999 to 2006, they worked at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in computer vision algorithms for target detection, recognition, and tracking.

Merrill McKee completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university. In 1995 to 1996, Merrill pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA with a concentration in Finance, General, at the University of Florida. Lastly, from 1992 to 1994, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
