Ellimaija Tanskanen

Ellimaija Tanskanen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2016, they worked as a Barista at Steam Coffee. In 2017, they took on a role as a Seller at Munkkiniemen Puukioski and later became a Waitress at Extremely Nice Job Oy -Enjoy-. In the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Translator and Content Writer, providing translation and localisation services for industry leaders such as Netflix, HBO, Disney, and creating blog and social media content for clients in the travel and tech industries.

In 2018, Tanskanen worked as a Sales Negotiator at Sanoma Media Finland and then as an EN>FI Translator at ZOO Digital Group plc. Ellimaija also had an internship at the Permanent Delegation of Finland to UNESCO, where they gained familiarity with the functioning of a UN organization and the role of member states.

In 2019, Tanskanen worked as an Assistant at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. In 2020, they joined Camptoo and held various roles including Head of Growth & Community Finland, Country Manager Finland, Organisation Manager, and Internationalisation Manager.

Currently, Tanskanen is working at Gospooky as a People & Culture Officer since 2023.

Ellimaija Tanskanen's education history begins in 2013 when they obtained their High School Diploma from the Finnish-French school in Helsinki. Ellimaija then attended the University of Helsinki from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in French Studies.

In 2019, Ellimaija enrolled in two master's degree programs simultaneously. Ellimaija attended the University of Groningen and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication and Media Studies. At the same time, they also attended Malmö University and received a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ellimaija has acquired various certifications. In 2014, they obtained a Hygiene passport from the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira. In the same year, they also obtained a YouthPass certification from Erasmus+. In 2016, they acquired an Alcohol passport from the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira).

Recently, in 2022, Ellimaija obtained two certifications from Coursera. Ellimaija completed a course titled "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project" and obtained a certification. Ellimaija also completed the course "Foundations of Project Management" and received a certification as well.
