Robin Osterhout

Robin Osterhout currently serves as Executive Director at Gossamer Bio, focusing on translational bioinformatics since January 2021. Previously, at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Robin held the roles of Head of Research Bioinformatics and Senior Computational Biologist, leading bioinformatics initiatives that supported preclinical research across various therapeutic areas. Robin's experience at Genomatica involved leading a systems biology team and developing significant computational methodologies for metabolic engineering. Academic training includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. with honors in Chemistry from Stanford University.
