Wolfgang Riess

Wolfgang Riess serves as Chief of Staff at GoStudent GmbH, where responsibilities include strategy, transformation, acquisitions, and people management, acting closely with the COO and CEO. Previously holding the position of Global Vice President of Tutor & Innovation, Wolfgang oversaw tutor operations across 15 markets, significantly scaling the tutor community. Prior experience includes serving as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, focusing on consumer goods and organizational practices, and internships at STRABAG, Deutsche Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank International AG. Wolfgang holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Philosophy in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Project Management for Construction from UCL.
