David Grant

David Grant is the Co-Founder and COO at Gotrade. Prior to their current role, David served as the APAC Chief Operating Officer at OANDA from September 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they were responsible for providing senior leadership and direction on Compliance, Facilities, Trading Operations, and Human Resources for the Asia-Pacific operations based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, and Shanghai. David was also accountable for the effectiveness of systems and controls covering all key aspects of the business, including operational procedures, compliance procedures, and all other procedures intended to control operational risk.

Prior to OANDA, David served as the Chief Operating Officer - APAC at GAIN Capital from August 2015 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overall executive management of the GAIN Singapore business as MAS-approved Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. David also partnered with local and global functional leadership and the executive team to ensure regional needs were identified and addressed and global business priorities were executed in line with overall strategy.

Before GAIN Capital, David served as Managing Director | CEO at Charles Schwab from March 2010 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for leading the charge in Schwab's international expansion into Asia with the launch of Schwab Singapore in 2010. David also oversaw the growth of Schwab's Asian business from $20 million to over $250 million in assets under management within five years.

Prior to Charles Schwab, David served as Chief Executive Officer - Singapore at City Index from May 2005 to February 2010. In this role, they were responsible for leading City Index's expansion into Asia with the launch of its Singapore office in 2005. Under David's leadership, City Index's Asian business grew from $1 million to over $100 million in assets under management within five years.

David Grant has a BCom from the University of the Witwatersrand in Business/Commerce, General.
