Emily Roach

Emily Roach is a skilled mobility consultant currently employed at Goudappel since November 2023. Previously, Emily held multiple roles at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates from September 2018 to January 2023, including Senior Associate Transportation Planner and Associate Transportation Planner. Experience also includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Center for Community Innovation and the Institute of Urban and Regional Development, and as a Global Transportation Roadmap Program Intern at the International Council on Clean Transportation. Earlier career highlights include working as a Research Analyst in Transportation at the Regional Plan Association and as a Conservation Corps Fellow at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in City Planning with a focus on Transportation from UC Berkeley (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Economics from Middlebury College (2011-2013). Additionally, Emily has international educational experience from Universidad de Cádiz and Boston College.
