Amanda Meneses

Emergency Manager/assistant To The Fire Chief at City of Southlake, Texas

Amanda Meneses currently serves as the Emergency Manager and Assistant to the Fire Chief for the City of Southlake, Texas, since December 2017, where responsibilities include authoring Emergency Action plans and enhancing employee safety awareness during emergencies. Previous experience includes supervising emergency dispatch operations at the National Institutes of Health from 2016 to 2017, where Amanda directed emergency management activities and assessed crisis strategy effectiveness. Prior to that, Amanda worked as an Emergency Dispatcher and 911 Emergency Telecommunication Specialist, ensuring efficient responses to various emergencies. Additionally, Amanda served as a Military Police Officer and K-9 Handler in the United States Navy from 1996 to 2010. Academically, Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Kaplan University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Columbia Southern University.
