Ellen McEvoy is a Higher Executive Officer with the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform since March 2023, following an Executive Officer role at the Department of Justice from February 2020 to March 2023. Previously, Ellen served as an Account Manager and Team Leader at Williams Lea Tag from February 2012 to February 2020, and as a Census Clerical Officer at the Central Statistics Office Ireland from December 2010 to February 2012. Ellen has freelanced as a journalist from June 2008 to September 2011 and held the position of Irish Language Co-ordinator at Craol Community Radio Forum of Ireland between 2008 and 2010. Ellen's educational background includes a Diploma of Education in Accounting and Business/Management with ACCA (2023), a Level 8 Certificate in Policing and Human Rights Law from the University of Limerick (2022), and a Diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Sales and PR from Griffith College Dublin (2011-2012), along with a BA (Hons) in Journalism and Language (Irish) from Technological University Dublin (2005-2010).
