Michael O' Connor

Michael O'Connor CPA currently serves as Accountant Grade II at the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform, focusing on EU Audit of various co-financed operations and funds including the European Regional Development Fund and the Brexit Adjustment Reserve. Previously, Michael held the position of Auditor at the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General in Ireland, responsible for auditing a wide range of State activities and funds. Earlier roles include Trainee Auditor at the Commissioner of the Revenue and Senior Accounts Assistant at O'Callaghan O'Mahony Accountants. Michael's career also includes a brief stint as a Truck Driver for KW Transport Limited. Michael holds a BA Honours Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Waterford Institute of Technology and completed the CPA Ireland Accounting Exams.
