Pedro Teixeira

Pedro Teixeira has over 18 years of experience in the software engineering and product management field. Pedro started their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer for PONTUAL Soluções Informáticas, where they developed and integrated custom apps and add-ons for customers. In 2007, they became a Technical Consultant for Vantyx Systems, followed by a Software Engineer position at T-Mobile Nederland in 2008. In 2010, they moved to Philips - Medical Systems as a Software and Release Engineer, where they were responsible for ensuring the releases of the medical online system were adopted by 5000 hospitals. In 2011, they joined Sage Portugal as a Product Owner/Software Engineer, creating new business lines with the existing products portfolio in Retail Business and creating a brand new product for a niche of Hospitality customers. In 2015, they moved to Jumia Group as a Senior Product Owner - Head of Seller Experience and Transaction Workflow. In 2016, they joined OutSystems as a Product Operations, where they were the first experienced product manager in R&D, hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring product people. Pedro was then promoted to Lead Product Manager, increasing drastically the developer’s adoption and revamping the OutSystems UI framework. In 2019, they moved to Talkdesk as a Senior Product Manager and Principal Product Manager, leading the product strategy of creating a unified and custom workspace experience. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Daloop.

Pedro Teixeira achieved a Master's Degree in Service Management from FEP U. Porto between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc + 5 in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto between 2000 and 2006. Pedro also holds several certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership (CAL I) from Scrum Alliance obtained in December 2018, Management 3.0 from Scopphu obtained in February 2018, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance obtained in May 2015, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance obtained in September 2008.
