Amber Salome

Amber Salome is a Senior Field Engineer at Grafana Labs since May 2024, with previous experience as a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer at Sysdig and a Senior Solutions Architect at Grafana Labs. Amber has extensive expertise in deploying Grafana Enterprise products and advising on observability and monitoring best practices. Prior roles include Staff Solutions Architect and Senior Solutions Architect at VMware, where challenges were triaged and deployment architectures for Tanzu Products were validated. Amber began a career in software engineering at Integral, following a stint as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at Kalamazoo College, and holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Biology from Kalamazoo College. Additional educational experiences include a study abroad semester at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
