Joao Guerreiro

Joao Guerreiro is a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs. Joao has over seven years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in tests of the OSI's L1, L2, L3, and L4 for data transmission, video transmission, and VoIP.

Guerreiro began their career in 2011 as a Telecommunications Systems Test Analyst with Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for configuring switches, OLTs, ONTs, and ONUs from various brands, as well as troubleshooting tests and preparing test reports. Joao also wrote equipment manuals and provided technical support for all platforms.

In 2016, Guerreiro joined Daitan Group as a System Test Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for creating, planning, and executing the entire software and hardware test projects of telecommunications' equipment. Joao was also responsible for studying and training new people with new technologies, as well as managing issues from opening to closing.

Guerreiro is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs. In this role, they are responsible for developing software to help users visualize data and monitor their infrastructure.

Joao Guerreiro has a specialization in business administration and management from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, a tecnologia em telecomunicações degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and an engenharia elétrica degree with a habilitação em telecomunicações from Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo.
