Lennie Chu

Lennie Chu is currently a People Ops Business Partner at Grafana Labs. Prior to this, they worked as a Global Human Resources Business Partner at Elastic from April 2018 to April 2021. They have also worked as an HR Consultant for various companies from November 2017 to March 2018.

Lennie has extensive experience in advising and partnering with global Marketing & G&A leadership in employee relations strategies, employee engagement, talent planning, performance management, employee development and change management. They have also conducted various analyses to enable business leaders with key metrics on compensation, differentiating performance, employee retention, employee engagement and workforce planning.

In addition, Lennie has been responsible for global immigration and mobility processes as part of Infoblox’s multinational presence. They have also ensured compliance to Infoblox’s Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Initiatives.

Lennie Chu graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and a Minor in Communications from the University of California, Davis. Afterwards, they became certified from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) as a Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP).

They are on a team with Hannah Sutton-Smith - People Ops Business Partner, Ben Blayney - People Business Partner, and Gracie Sharpe - People Generalist. Their manager is Alice Farrell, VP, People Ops.
