Scott Lepper

Scott Lepper is a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs. Scott has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry and has worked with a variety of programming languages and frameworks.

Scott began their career as a software developer at Amway in 2005. Scott worked on a number of projects, including the development of an e-commerce platform and a CRM system. In 2011, they left Amway to join Gordon Food Service as a senior software developer.

At Gordon Food Service, Scott worked on a number of applications, including a warehouse management system and an order fulfillment system. Scott also helped to migrate the company's website to a new content management system.

In 2014, Scott left Gordon Food Service to join Voyager Search as a principal software engineer. At Voyager Search, they worked on a number of search, analytics, and insights applications built upon Solr. Scott also helped to develop Navigo, a search and geoprocessing application that uses Solr as its core search engine.

Scott is an expert in front-end development, back-end development, continuous integration, and Agile methodology. Scott is also proficient in a variety of mapping tools, including ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS API for Javascript, Web AppBuilder, QGIS, and Leaflet.

Scott Lepper has a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Harvard University, a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University, and an Associates in Computer Information Systems from Kellogg Community College.

Their manager is Jon Gyllenswärd, Director, Engineering. They are on a team with Björn Beorn Rabenstein - Principal Software Engineer, Suraj Nath - Senior Software Engineer, and Cristian Greco - Senior Software Engineer.
