Fraser Black

Fraser Black has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Fraser started their career at Marks and Spencer in 2010, where they worked as a Customer Advisor for four years before being promoted to Supervisor. After two years in this role, they further progressed to become the Food & Hospitality Section Manager. Fraser'slast role at Marks and Spencer was as a Commercial Operations Manager, a position they held for two years until 2021.

In 2021, Fraser joined Dobbies Garden Centres as an Operations Manager. During their time there, they had two separate periods of employment. The first lasted from December 2021 to March 2023, followed by a brief break between roles, and then they returned to the same position from February 2022 until the present.

Most recently, Fraser joined Grafterr in 2023 as an Operations Manager. Fraser'semployment there is ongoing, with no specified end date.

Fraser Black attended Whitburn Academy from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained SQA Highers in English, Mathematics, and History. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Strathclyde from 2006 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law and History.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Fraser Black has also pursued various certifications. In May 2016, they obtained a Professional Development Award SCQF Level 7 from the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). Fraser also holds a Manager Food Safety Certification from Marks and Spencer, obtained in September 2017. Fraser Black has further acquired the PVG scheme membership from Disclosure Scotland in December 2016, and a Premises Licence Holder certification from West Lothian Council in November 2019.

More recently, Fraser Black has engaged in online learning through LinkedIn. In May 2023, they completed certifications in Human Resources Foundations, Human Resources: Understanding HR Systems Features and Benefits, Strategic Human Resources, and The Human Resources Hero, all attained through LinkedIn.
