Joyce Collins-Pirson

Joyce Collins-Pirson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joyce began their most recent position as an IT Configuration Manager at Graham Technologies in 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Senior Technical Writer/Editor at Gemini Industries from March 2021 to September 2021. From 2018 to 2021, Joyce served as a Senior Technical Editor at METIS Solutions, LLC where they were responsible for editing and publishing various documentation related to the JSOU mission.

Before joining METIS Solutions, Joyce worked at SAIC from 2016 to 2018 as an IT Technology Innovation Team Member/Analyst at USCENTCOM CCJ6 - Engineering, Technology Innovation. In this role, they directed communications and oversaw engineering, software, hardware, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Prior to SAIC, Joyce was an IT Project Manager at Tech Data, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. During their time there, they led the Agile global implementation integration of HP PPM SaaS cloud platform system.

From 2012 to 2014, Joyce worked as an Information Technology Project Manager at L-3 Communications, overseeing the J-Specialized Communications Engineering and Technical Support Services (SCES) contract for U. S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR SSC-Atlantic, Tampa), and Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) IT Network Capital Equipment Replacement Programs (CERP).

Joyce began their career as a Technical Writer and Editor at Insight Global in 2011, where they wrote, edited, and published technical manuals for Special Operations Forces Deployable Nodes Satellite.

Joyce'searliest known work experience was as a Project Manager-Federal Realty and Property Management at T.A. Consulting, Inc. to National Guard Bureau, Headquarters Air National Guard, Civil Engineering from 2001 to 2008. In this role, they led real property initiatives for an extensive portfolio of ANG bases and administered funding for various projects.

Throughout their career, Joyce has demonstrated expertise in technical writing, editing, project management, and IT innovation.

Joyce Collins-Pirson has a diverse and extensive education history. Joyce holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.org, which they obtained in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management and Information Security from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, between 2011 and 2015. In 2010, Joyce earned an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.

Joyce'seducational journey also includes a Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the University of South Florida in 2010. In 2005, they obtained a Master of Science degree, as well as a Master of Aeronautical Science degree, specializing in Aeronautical Aviation/Aerospace Management and Safety, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Earlier, in 1997, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics, with a focus on Aerospace, Aviation Management and Safety, from the same institution.

Joyce's educational foundation began at the Community College of the Air Force, where they received an AS degree in Journeyman and Team Leader. Joyce'sfield of study at this time included Electronics/Electronic Warfare Systems, Avionics Systems, and Flight Simulator Systems Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Joyce has also obtained several certifications. These include certifications such as CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) Cert Prep: The Basics and IT Service Management Foundations: Tools from LinkedIn, as well as ServiceNow: Basic Administration, all of which were obtained in 2021.
