Brian Carroll, PhD, BCMAS, MSL-BC has extensive experience as a Medical Science Liaison. Brian'smost recent role is as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at GRAIL since July 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sirtex Medical Limited, Syneos Health, and The Medical Affairs Company (TMAC), where they provided support and education to physicians in various therapeutic areas. Brian also has experience in product development, discovery, and innovation, as well as regulatory affairs operations at Primus Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in their career, they worked at Metagenics and KinDex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they focused on the development of pharmaceutical products. Brian has also held post-doctoral fellowships at Fred Hutch and the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research. Dr. Carroll's work experience demonstrates their expertise in medical science liaison, product development, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical research.

Brian Carroll, PhD, BCMAS, MSL-BC has a strong educational background in chemistry. Brian completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry at The Ohio State University in 1988. Brian then pursued further academic achievements and earned their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Brian Carroll obtained the Board Certified in Medical Affairs (BCMAS) certification from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) in May 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Medical Science Liaison Board Certification (MSL-BC) from the Medical Science Liaison Society in February 2020.

In 2021, Brian Carroll participated in the HMX Fundamentals/Pro online certificate program at Harvard Medical School, specifically focusing on Cancer Genomics and Precision Oncology.
