Christina Bormann Chung

Christina Bormann Chung has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research and development. Christina is currently employed at GRAIL as a Medical Director in Clinical Development. Prior to this, they worked at Genentech as a Senior Companion Diagnostic Development Leader in Oncology, where they played a key role in implementing clinical trial assays and collaborating with diagnostic partners to develop companion diagnostic assays. Christina Bormann Chung has a strong educational background in the field of Biology, particularly in Agriculture Biology. Christina earned their B.S. degree from Rheinische Akademie e.V. Koeln in 1995. Christina then pursued further education, earning both their M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Hohenheim, where they specialized in Agriculture Biology, completing their studies in 2003. During this time, they also conducted research at the Max Planck Institute, where they further developed their expertise in Agriculture Biology, completing their Ph.D. in 2003.
