Jason Brannock

Senior Associate Scientist at GRAIL

Jason Brannock has a diverse work experience in various scientific research roles. Jason is currently a Research Associate 2 at GRAIL, where they focus on data analytics and is responsible for instrument failure troubleshooting and lab work. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, they worked at Inivata as a Scientist and an Associate Scientist, where they were involved in experimental design, NGS wet bench chemistry, data analysis, SOP creation, technology validation, training, and troubleshooting. Jason also worked as a Research Technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2018, conducting drug testing and analysis of hematopoietic stem cells. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, conducting biochemistry experiments, and as a Computational Chemist at NC State University, focusing on improving dye-sensitized solar cells through computational modeling. Their earliest experience was as an Assisting Entomologist at David Tarpy's Entomology Lab, where they worked with European honey bees and conducted various experiments using TBARS assays, PCR, coding, and gel electrophoresis.

Jason Brannock attended North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2018, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry.
