Sierra Comini

Sierra Comini has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Sierra'smost recent position is as a Senior Research Associate at GRAIL, where they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ReCode Therapeutics as a Senior Research Associate I from July 2021 to August 2022. Sierra also held roles as a Research Associate II from January 2020 to July 2021 and as a Research Associate I from April 2019 to January 2020 at ReCode Therapeutics.

Before joining ReCode Therapeutics, Sierra worked at Translational Bioscience as a Research Associate in protein biomarker sciences from October 2018 to April 2019. Sierra also gained experience as a Graduate Research Student at SJSU from August 2016 to May 2018 and as a Life Science Research Professional at Stanford University from July 2017 to April 2018.

Sierra's earlier career includes roles at UC Santa Cruz, where they worked as a Field Research Assistant from September 2012 to September 2013 and as an Undergraduate Student from September 2009 to June 2013. In their undergraduate studies, they were involved in major science projects related to genetic identification of bacteria and bacterial growth kinetics.

Additionally, Sierra briefly worked as a Patient Representative Consultant at Stanislaus Surgical Hospital Coffee Road Pain Clinic from June 2012 to September 2012.

Sierra Comini's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from San Jose State University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology. Sierra also completed their high school education at Big Valley High School Modesto from 2005 to 2009.
