Michael Schmidt

Michael Schmidt has extensive experience in accounting and financial services, currently serving as a Specialist in Group Accounting at Grammer AG since September 2018, where responsibilities include the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements and management reports, alongside implementing new IFRS standards. Prior to this, Michael was a certified tax advisor at Lauterbach & Scholz Partnerschaft, providing tax consulting and auditing services. Earlier work experience includes various roles at EY, where responsibilities spanned from audit assistance to senior audit leadership in the financial services sector. Michael holds a Master of Science in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation from the University of Bayreuth and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the same institution, supplemented by studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
