Mandy Gull-Masty is the Grand Chief of the Cree Nation of Eeyou Istchee at the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee)/Cree Nation Government, a position held since July 2021, following tenure as Deputy Grand Chief from August 2017 to October 2021. Previously, Mandy served as Deputy Chief of the Cree First Nation of Waswanipi and as Political Attache under Kapatakun Consulting, which is a registered management consulting business owned by Mandy, operating from January 2012 to October 2021. Mandy Gull-Masty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis, both from Concordia University. Kapatakun Consulting specializes in project management, organizational development, policy development, strategic action planning, program evaluation, and event coordination.
