Sylvia Rodas

Sylvia Rodas has extensive experience in the field of project management and facilities planning. Sylvia currently serves as the Director of Facilities Planning & Redevelopment at Grand River Hospital. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Capital and Facilities Planning at the same organization.

Before joining Grand River Hospital, Sylvia worked as a Project Manager at Colliers Project Leaders from June 2021 to January 2023. Sylvia then worked as a Project Coordinator at Plenary Group from May 2019 to June 2021.

During their time at Colliers International, Sylvia held the role of Assistant Project Manager from May 2018 to May 2019 and worked as a Project Administrator from August 2017 to April 2018.

Sylvia's earliest work experience was as a Project Coordinator at Scott Design Build from May 2016 to July 2017.

Sylvia Rodas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Science from Ryerson University in 2016. Sylvia then pursued a Certificate in Construction Project Management from George Brown College from 2016 to 2018. In 2023 to 2025, they attended Toronto Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Project Management. Sylvia also holds additional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2020 and LEED Green Associate in 2018.
