Gerald Heare

Gerald Heare, CPCU, MBA has an extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Gerald started their career at Chubb in 2001 and worked as a Senior Underwriting Officer for Property, Machinery, and Marine until 2006. Gerald then joined Wausau Insurance, part of Liberty Mutual, as an Assistant Vice President, Managing Director for Commercial Product Management. Gerald worked there for three years before moving to Montgomery Insurance, also part of Liberty Mutual, as an Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Lines division. In 2012, Heare joined Liberty Mutual Insurance as the Vice President for Mid-Atlantic Commercial Lines and later transitioned to Grange Insurance as the SVP CL Chief Underwriting & Strategy Officer in 2014.

Gerald Heare, CPCU, MBA attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they obtained a BA in Political Science. Gerald later pursued an MBA in Finance, General at Indiana Wesleyan University from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, Gerald has also acquired several certifications from LinkedIn in various areas, including bias, diversity, inclusion, personal effectiveness, psychological safety, and unconscious bias.
