Jeremy Thompson is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in mine planning and operations. Currently serving as Mine Planning Superintendent at Grange Resources since July 2024, Jeremy previously held key roles including Senior Short Term Engineer and Mine Planning Superintendent at South32, and Production Superintendent/Senior Mining Engineer at Queensland Magnesia. Jeremy's career spans several reputable companies such as Peabody Energy, Titan America, and BHP Billiton, where responsibilities covered a wide range of mine planning and engineering functions. With a background in both technical and managerial capacities, Jeremy has demonstrated leadership in overseeing engineering teams, optimizing production plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Science in Technology Management from South Dakota Mines.

Grange Resources Limited owns and operates Australia's largest integrated iron ore mining and pellet production business located in the northwest region of Tasmania. The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine, 100km southwest of the city of Burnie, is a long life mining asset with current reserves estimated to extend the mine life to beyond 2035. At Port Latta, 70kms northwest of Burnie, is Grange Resources' wholly owned pellet plant and port facility producing over two million tonnes of premium quality iron ore pellets annually with plans to increase annual production in the coming years to 2.7 million tonnes. Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contract process.
