Charlotte S. Lee has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Charlotte S. started their career as a Senior User Experience Designer & Business Analyst Consultant at U.S. Customs and Border Protection in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Technology and Management Consultant at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). Charlotte S. then joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 2019 as a Subject Matter Expert in Customer Experience and Human Centered Design.
In the same year, Charlotte became a Subject Matter Expert in Human Centered Design and Customer Experience in Legislative Processes at the U.S. House of Representatives. Charlotte S. also worked as the Executive Director of the Council for Ethical Modernization, where they aimed to promote ethical conduct in technology. Charlotte's expertise in IT Systems Modernization and UX Design led their to start their own company, Kastling Group, in 2012.
In 2020, Charlotte worked as a Portfolio UX Lead & Customer Experience Subject Matter Expert at the GSA and concurrently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Monday Design Company, where they collaborated with government and civic organizations to implement human centered design theory and practice.
In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Strategic Lead, CX & Innovation at Granicus, focusing on customer experience and innovation. Charlotte's most recent role is as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Virginia, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Charlotte has demonstrated expertise in UX design, customer experience, strategic change management, and business process re-engineering.
Charlotte S. Lee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Digital Transformation-FinTech from Københavns Universitet-University of Copenhagen. Charlotte also holds additional certifications, including a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
