Thomas Davenport has worked in the welding engineering and quality assurance fields since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a QA Technician Intern at PRL Industries, where they worked with Quality Assurance reviewing certifications and setting up a filing system. Thomas also assisted the maintenance department and gained exposure to AWS, ASME, and Techpub. From 2014 to 2017, Thomas worked as a QA Technician Intern at Pennsylvania Precision Cast Parts, Inc. During this time, they managed the Laboratory, performing mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and documentation of materials during the laboratory manager's absence. Thomas also assisted the Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Metallurgical Departments and utilized SolidWorks to develop 3-D models from customer drawings. From 2017 to 2022, Thomas worked as a Welding Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. Currently, Thomas is a Welding Project Engineer at Granite State Manufacturing.
Thomas Davenport attended LeTourneau University from 2011 to 2017 where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Joining Engineering Technology.
