Jonathan Perez

Jonathan Perez is an accomplished local government professional currently serving as County Councilman for Grant County Government since May 2023, having previously held the same position from January 2019 to December 2020. As Town Manager for the Town of Upland since May 2017, Jonathan has successfully secured over $5 million in grants for economic and community development. Prior experience includes Director of Development Services for the City of Marion, Indiana, and Director of Community Relations for U.S. Congressman Dan Burton. Jonathan's education includes a Master's degree in Policy and Organizational Change from Indiana Wesleyan University and multiple certificates from Ball State University and other institutions in areas such as economic development and public management.
