Kai Paalberg

Kai Paalberg is a seasoned professional in the field of auditing and business risk services, currently serving as the Head of Business Risk Services at Grant Thornton Baltic in Estonia since January 2019. Previously, Kai Paalberg held key positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Head of the Internal Audit Unit and Senior Auditor, where responsibilities encompassed managing audit operations, enhancing audit methodologies for European Union structural funds, and providing training for auditors. Additionally, experience as a Senior Auditor with the European Commission involved assessing internal controls and evaluating audit processes. Kai Paalberg holds a Master’s degree in Economics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, earned between 1997 and 2001.
