Ed Wuenschell

Ed Wuenschell currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Accounting Operations at MedStar Health, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Wuenschell was Managing Director of Advisory Services (Finance Transformation) at Grant Thornton LLP starting in October 2022. Wuenschell has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having held the role of VP Finance and System Controller at the University of Maryland Medical System from February 2019 to October 2022 and Controller at Bon Secours Health System from 2013 to February 2019. Wuenschell began a career in auditing at KPMG US, working from August 2000 to February 2013 as a Senior Manager for multiple audit engagements. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount St. Mary's University and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
