Toby Ferenczi has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Toby is currently a Co-Founder at Granular Energy, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Advisory Board member at EnergyTag starting from August 2020.

Toby started their career as a PhD Researcher at Imperial College from September 2005 to September 2008. Toby also had an internship at Arthur D. Little's Sustainability and Governance Practice in 2008, where they worked on renewable energy strategies for various clients.
Toby Ferenczi completed their undergraduate education at the University of Cambridge from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a MSci degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Physics. Toby then pursued further education at Imperial College London from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a PhD in Physics.
