Riaz Ahmed

Riaz Ahmed has extensive work experience in supply chain management. Riaz currently serves as the Senior Vice President & Head of Supply Chain at Granules India Limited since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President & Head of Supply Chain at Hikal Ltd from April 2019 to September 2020.

Before joining Hikal Ltd, Riaz held the position of Associate Vice President at Jubilant Generics Limited from July 2012 to April 2019. Riaz also worked as an Associate Director at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from June 2007 to July 2012.

Earlier in their career, Riaz held the role of Head of Supply Chain at Tupperware India from March 2003 to June 2007 and Head of Planning & Distribution at VIP Industries Limited from June 1995 to March 2003.

Riaz Ahmed completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University from 1984 to 1988. Riaz then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing & Operations Management from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 1993 to 1995.

In terms of additional certifications, Riaz Ahmed obtained a PICS (Production & Inventory Control Systems) certificate from Tupperware Brands in June 2005. Furthermore, they participated in the General Management Programme for Sr. Leadership at IIM Bangalore through their Executive Programmes. Riaz also holds a Six Sigma champion certification, although the institution and specific dates of acquisition are not provided.
