Laurence Herbert

Laurence Herbert has a strong background in software and technology leadership, with experience in building and delivering innovative AI solutions. They have worked as a Software Product Director at Graphcore since 2019, where they have demonstrated world-class MLPerf submissions and performance, collaborated with global hyperscalers, and established and grew the Software Product team. Prior to that, they were a Software and Architecture Manager at Dyson from 2016 to 2019, where they built a world-class advanced software connectivity and architecture group. Laurence also has experience as a Technical and Software Director at TgK Scientific Limited, where they led multi-disciplinary teams in creating novel solutions for pioneering research within the Life Sciences. They have a strong technical background in areas such as data acquisition, signal processing, and embedded systems.

Laurence Herbert obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter, from 1995 to 1999.
