Melanie Duncan

Melanie Duncan, SPHR, PMP has extensive experience in human resources and project management. Melanie is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources Operations & Systems Transformation at Graphic Packaging International, LLC. Melanie'srole entails leading the transformation of HR operations and systems.

Prior to their current position, Melanie worked at NCR Corporation for over two decades. Melanie held various leadership roles, including HR Vice President, Operations, and Strategic Business Partner. In this position, they provided strategic HR leadership to the Commercial Strategy and Operations Division, driving the execution of people programs and organizational design. Melanie also served as the HR Director of HR Information Systems (HRIS), where they defined and executed the HR systems portfolio supporting global business objectives.

Throughout their career, Melanie has demonstrated expertise in building and executing global HR shared services organizations, managing HR systems portfolios, and providing strategic business partnership. Melanie is a valuable asset in driving business success through effective HR strategies and operations.

Melanie Duncan, SPHR, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from The Ohio State University. Melanie also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance and International Business from the University of Dayton. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in August 2020. Melanie is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute since 2008. Furthermore, Melanie has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Change Management Foundations and Leading Change in Large, Distributed Organizations. Melanie has also completed training courses in Managing Up, Influencing Others, Executive Leadership, and Gaining Skills with LinkedIn Learning, among others. Additionally, Melanie holds a Green Belt Certification from NCR Corporation.
