Euan Slorach

VP, Cell Biology at Graphite Bio

Euan Slorach has a diverse work experience in the field of cell biology and biotechnology. Euan is currently working as the VP of Cell Biology at Graphite Bio since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Cell Engineering at Notch Therapeutics from May 2021 to October 2021.

Euan has also held multiple positions at Caribou Biosciences. Euan started as a Senior Scientist in December 2013 and worked until December 2018, where they served as the Head of the Cell Engineering group. During their tenure, they developed novel therapies in the immuno-oncology space using gene editing technologies. Euan then became the Associate Director of Cell Engineering/Stem Cell Therapeutics from January 2019 to April 2021, and later became the Director of Stem Cell Therapeutics for a brief period in April 2021 to May 2021.

Before joining Caribou Biosciences, Euan worked as a Scientist at Didimi Inc. from July 2011 to October 2013. Euan also has research experience at the University of California San Francisco, where they worked as a Post-doctoral scholar in the Laboratory of Prof. Zena Werb from July 2000 to July 2005, and later as an Associate Specialist in the same laboratory from July 2005 to July 2011.

Euan Slorach earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics/Stem Cell Biology from The University of Edinburgh/MRC Human Genetics Unit, where they attended from 1994 to 1999.
